About Us:
The Egyptian Association for IT Service Management (EAITSM) is an Egyptian local association working in the field of ITSM, to promote best practice and guidance, and to be a focal reference point for this field in the Egyptian marketplace. The EAITSM is affiliated to itSMF International as itSMF Egypt chapter.
itSMF is an independent, not-for-profit organization, wholly owned and principally run by its membership. itSMF is structured as a series of chapters, each being a separate legal entity and enjoying a large degree of autonomy. itSMF International (itSMFI) is a separate legal entity, whose members are the national chapters.
The IT Service Management Forum Egypt (itSMF Egypt) is a non-profit organization affiliated to the itSMF International. It was established as a forum for Information Technology (IT) service/product providers, IT service/product users, and related parties to explore all means available to maximize IT business value.
To be a Development Transformational Agent in the Arab World through ITSM Practices
One of our main activities is to promote international standards of IT Service Management within our membership and the larger community, to raise their awareness and knowledge of how to benefit from these standards and best practices with the ultimate goal of benefiting their businesses and national economies.
In achieving so, we occasionally organize collaborative professional events, in some cases this is jointly arranged in cooperation with other similar mission organizations, that’s in addition to our regular annual conferences.
We have a clear focus on translation activities in order to avail the scientific references in the ITSM field to the Arabic community is their native language, and this is out of our understanding of the real need for this service in the large Arabic IT community. We do also believe that the support and availability of the translated Arabic materials will help and facilitate generation of contributions and achievements from the Arabic community at the international level, in their native language.
We also pay due attention to partnership and involvement at the Arabic regional level.
The EAITSM was established as an affiliated chapter to itSMF International (itSMF Egypt Chapter). The Establishment Project started in Dec. 2007, and was closed in Nov. 2008, when the chapter is launched for operation (Soft Launch). The chapter is approved and officially recognized by itSMF International (http://www.itsmfi.org/content/egypt). The founder is Ms. Rania Al-Maghraby, who managed the establishment project and the incorporation process.
The legal entity of The Egyptian Association for ITSM was registered on Wednesday, June 10th, 2009, with number 3396, in Giza, Egypt.
We accept sponsorship with the following terms :
· The Sponsorship Levels Scale is as follows :
o Platinum Sponsor : 50,000 L.E.
o Gold Sponsor : 30,000 L.E.
o Silver Sponsor : 15,000 L.E.
· The benefits for each level are as follows:
o Benefits for Platinum Sponsor are those of Corporate member, with quota of 500 employees.
o Benefits for Gold Sponsor are those of Corporate member, with quota of 100 employees.
o Benefits for Silver Sponsor are those of Corporate member, with quota of 50 employees.
o Additional common benefits :
§ All sponsors logos will be published on the website as Sponsor of the corresponding level, as well as in all of our events and printed materials.
§ All sponsors will have the right to post our logo to their website mentioning that they are a sponsor.
· The Sponsorship will be renewed every year (full amount) in order for the sponsorship status to remain active.
· For multinational organizations that would like their sponsorship to be attributed to their global organization, the only available sponsorship type is Platinum Sponsor. Otherwise, their sponsorship will be attributed to their local branch in Egypt only.
· According to Egyptian law, the amount of money you pay as donation to national associations (like ours) are deductible from your annual taxes, as mentioned in the official tax report template. We will issue you a properly signed and stamped payment receipt to help you be able to reclaim your right for deducting this amount from your annual taxes.
